Sweet, clean and beautifully complex whole bean coffee freshly roasted in San Francisco and packaged in 12 oz compostable bags.

Currently featuring single-origin coffees from Colombia, Peru, Ethiopia, Nicaragua Dipilto and two blends.

  • Brass Tacks (blend). Fully washed Arabica from our producing partners throughout the equatorial belt are roasted with a touch of body to produce this crisp and courageous blend. 
  • Columbia / Lucas Melo. Is “resort coffee” a thing? Relax around the pool, drinking this coffee out of coconut shells while rose bouquets, complimentary apples, and mint lotion await in the hotel lounge.
  • Peru / Fredy Bermeo. As Teen Vogue says, your quinceañera cake should reflect your personality: angel-food cake for your honest nature, upside-down cake for your goofy side, and sweet pink pineapple frosting.
  • Friendo Blendo Espresso. Citrus flavors swan dive into fresh berry full forward fold, which jumps or walks back into down dog, then ascends into a toffee sweetness sun salutation. Swan dive.
  • Decaf / Nicaragua Dipilto. Always composed and elegant, this Swiss Water Process decaf is redolent of jasmine flower fragrance on the surface, and rich with butterscotch sweetness all the way down.

    If we can help a 900-person co-op in Ethiopia build a schoolhouse, of course we'll do it. If one of our coworkers needs some time off to care for a sick parent, of course we'll cover his or her shifts. If we need to take a red-eye coach flight to Frankfurt to score the perfect 1957 roasting equipment, of course we'll do it.

    We're an independent, locally owned coffee roastery, brewing the best coffee in San Francisco. We operate a pair of cafes, and we're partners in The Mill. We directly source almost all of the coffee that we roast for ourselves and our wholesale partners. And we take care of each other.
